A car dealer app for the way the work actually happens.
Standing at the parts counter. In the yard when the tow arrives. Under the hood when the mechanic names the real number. Deelary keeps every cost on the car it belongs to, from your phone.
Buying, reconditioning and selling cars is standing-up work. The receipt prints at the counter. The VIN plate is under a hood in a dark shed. The buyer asks about Saturday while you are holding a wheel in one hand.
Desktop dealer software assumes none of that. It assumes a desk, a chair and a free hour. By the time you reach the desk, the small costs have already slipped, and the small costs are the ones that decide whether the month was good.
What it does on the device
- VIN scan. Point the camera at the plate. Make, model, year, engine and body fill themselves in.
- Receipt photo. Photograph the receipt and the app reads the amount, the date and the category on the device itself.
- Live totals. Every cost you add moves that car's total cost, margin and projected profit right then.
- Days on the lot. Each car shows how long it has been sitting, with a nudge at 45 days and a harder one at 75.
- Appointments. Showings, test drives and shop visits sit on the car, with reminders.
- Offline. Everything works with no signal and syncs later.
On iPad, the same records, more room
The iPad version is the same app and the same account, with space to compare cars side by side and go through a month's sales without scrolling. Dealers tend to add cars on the iPhone in the yard and review the numbers on the iPad in the evening.
The one number most apps get wrong
Profit is not the sale price minus the purchase price. It is the sale price minus the purchase price, the auction fee, the transport, the parts, the labour, the detail, the listing fee, the registration and the weeks your money sat in that car instead of the next one.
Deelary adds every one of those to the car as it happens, so the margin on screen is the margin you will actually bank. The true cost of a car goes through the costs that usually get left out, and gross profit per car covers what a healthy number looks like.
What it is not
It does not build your website, run your ads or manage a sales floor. It answers one question, which is what every car really cost and what it really made. That narrowness is why it can be opened with one hand in a yard.
Price
Free for up to two active cars, with every feature working. Deelary Pro is $8.99 a month or $49.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial, billed through your Apple ID. Full detail on the pricing page. One forgotten receipt on one car usually covers the year.
Running a lot rather than a driveway? Car lot software for small dealers covers the same app from the lot's side. Flipping a few cars at a time? The car flipping app page is the shorter version.
Questions
Is Deelary a native iPhone and iPad app?
Yes. Deelary is built for iOS 26.0 and iPadOS 26.0 or later and runs on both iPhone and iPad with the same account. It is not a mobile website wrapped in an app shell.
Does the app work without a signal?
Yes. Auction sheds, yards and shop bays rarely have usable signal, so Deelary works offline. Cars, costs and photos are saved on the device and sync when the connection comes back.
What does the VIN scan fill in?
Pointing the camera at the VIN plate fills the make, model, year, engine and body style, so a new car takes seconds to add instead of a minute of typing.
What does it cost?

Can I get my records out again?
Yes. Every car, cost and sale exports to CSV whenever you want it. The records are yours and they are not held hostage by a subscription.
